I have asked for the help of the Grand Strand Community for many charitable causes over the years, and even help in the passage of Jessica's Law, the child sexual predators bill that the Grand Strand was instrumental in passing, with the residents signing over 17,000 petitions. I am now going to do something I have never done, that is to ask my former listeners and residents of the Grand Strand to "HELP ME GET A JOB BACK IN RADIO". I applied in the early part of September to work at the "New Movin 94.5" that is really a "jammin" station. I was told to call back in mid October, since no firm date had been set for "live" announcers to be placed on the station. About 2 weeks ago I produced and dropped off a public service announcement for the 'Adopt A Tree Highway" golf tournament on November 1st. Because I started off the announcement identifying myself, I have received over a dozen calls asking if I was working at Movin 94.5. In fact, I was stopped twice yesterday at COSTCO by their employees asking the same question.
I love the Grand Strand and want to continue to be a part of the Community and to help in any way I can. Some folks have asked me to run for "political office" but I am not, and have no desire to enter politics. What I am asking my former friends and listeners to do, is to just make a call to "Movin 94.5" at 9 0 3 - 9 9 6 2 and leave a message for Will Isaacs that you would like them to include Lou Krieger as a member of their "live" staffing. I made a promise to myself and to our Almighty Father when I took over the morning show at Sunny 7 years ago, it was to do good things and make a difference in the Community. I want to continue to carry that torch and need your help to do so.
Your calls, I believe can make a difference.
Thanks
God Bless
Lou
If I don't get this job at "Movin 94.5" I may never be heard on a Grand Strand station again, so I really need your help!

Hi Lou!!!I just made that phone call! And I will call every day if I have too. Ever since Sunny 106.5 asked you to leave, we have been looking for a radio station that plays classic hits like you played. I was happy to find Movin' 94.5 but it was definitely missing something...That's when I realized (and wished) that you should be deejaying there!! They need some "personality" there and someone like you who cares some much about the community (and not to mention is an EXCELLENT DEEJAY) would be PERFECT!!! Good Luck, Lou...We are hoping and praying that it all works out for you!
God Bless!

Very interesting and informative site you have!!
Take care
Hi Lou,
When Sunny 106.5 went off the air, I was so upset. A few months later I tuned into Movin' 94.5 after I saw it advertised on TV. I play it every day when I exercise at LFC in the Inlet Sq. Mall and I know it would be even better if we were hearing your voice. I have just made the phone call to Will Isaacs, as you suggested and even told him that if he needed some administrative/office help, I was available too. Our office closed in March 2008, so I am also out of a job. Best wishes and may God bless you, Elaine Wheaton aka wheat777@sccoast.net
Hi Lou...I'm all for it; let's make this work! But we need to fax and email them also. Tell them how much we need you back on the air for the good of Horry County and how much advertising $$$ they will get from all your loyal listeners. The muzzle needs to come off, (it's been to boring around here without
you listening to the publics concerns. We need a good radio station who will support the community; but that station, needs the leadership of an outstanding
DeeJay who has the leadership qualities, who cares about the people, the community, and the country. That Dee Jay is you, Lou.
Let's get to work and make this a done deal & a great deal for the people , the community and Movin' 94. This truly is a WIN/WIN FOR ALL! GOD BLESS YOU
Jackie
Thank you Veronica (I miss the cookies) Sara, Elaine (at Ladies Fitness Club that used to have my show on) and Jackie for your comments....I have had many people call on my behalf and it is extremely "heartwarming" to have such a huge response and help from my friends I made over the years. I hope and pray we will be "reunited" on Movin 94.5 shortly!
Thanks Again,
God Bless
Lou
I followed you from "Bal'mor" HON. I'm not moving again, so I'll be calling the station and asking that they put you on the air. Your voice, humor, and your public service announcements have been missed. Hope to hear you soon.
